Gregory is the CEO of TAG Advisors. He is an experienced executive with over 30 years of financial services industry success. He is responsible for all of the securities operations related to the firm. Gregory also leads the organization’s recruiting efforts by attracting, engaging and successfully on-boarding new reps into the firm. Under his leadership, TAG Advisors has grown to over $36 million in GDC. The branch has over 220 registered reps managing over $4.5 billion in assets.
Previously, Gregory served as the National Director of Field Development for the MetLife Broker Dealer Group. While in this position, Greg was responsible for recruiting and transition and was part of the Senior Management Team. Prior to this, he founded and led two highly profitable financial services firms. He built a branch for one of the country’s largest broker dealer organizations that became #1 out of 80 branches nationally. He managed 70 advisors in four offices that produced $660 million in assets under management and generated $6.4 million in GDC and life insurance premium annually while achieving the designation of a LifeMark Partner, responsible for over $1 million of life insurance premium annually.
Over the span of his career, Greg has now successfully grown his branch in two different independent broker dealers to become the top branch at each firm. Greg’s vision today is to build an industry-leading, comprehensive organization that serves and protects its OSJs and advisors while helping them grow and capitalize on the strength, scale, and resources of TAG Advisors and Cambridge.
